“Arjun Uvacha: Nanakda Pagla Bhare Haranfad” book cover unveiled on World Clubfoot Day
On June 3rd, recognized worldwide as World Clubfoot Day, the Give Vacha Foundation and Krup Health celebrated the seventh anniversary of the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv at the Gunje Gita Centre at Kutch. This significant event also marked the unveiling of Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s upcoming book, “Arjun Uvacha: Nanakda Pagla Bhare Haranfad,” which chronicles the journey of seven-year-old Parv Thacker, known as the world’s youngest singer and actor and a determined clubfoot warrior. The book cover was unveiled by Dr. Shashikant Thacker, Mrs. Nayanaben Thacker, and members of the Parv Fusion Band.
The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer, “Mangalmay Sab Kar Dena,” performed by the young artists of Krup Academy. Following this, attendees joined in a recital of the Gunje Gita to pray for the health and well-being of children affected by clubfoot. Dr. Pooja Thacker provided counseling to the children and mothers, highlighting the involvement of Vacha Thacker, who is serving as the Clubfoot Awareness Goodwill Ambassador in the USA for the past seven years. Dr. Pooja also noted that, “This year, players from five teams of the Triangle Cricket League in the USA joined the awareness campaign, by wearing T-shirts with the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv logo during their matches, contributing to the cause from the month of march and continuing for the next eight months.”
Dr. Krupesh Thacker, discussing the therapeutic benefits of music therapy, emphasized the importance of combining treatment with musical and Gita-based awareness. He said, “Child ambassador Parv received commendations from Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and Health Minister Rishikesh Patel for his role in this global initiative, bringing pride to Kutch.”
Dr. Shashikant Thacker, trustee of the Give Vacha Foundation, remarked on the uniqueness of the book, stating, “This is the first time a book has been written on a child’s life journey. It will serve as an inspiration for other children and youth, and Parv’s story will significantly contribute to spreading awareness about clubfoot.”
It is noteworthy that this family band has previously launched songs and albums globally to raise awareness about clubfoot. Recently, Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s efforts were acknowledged by Dr. Mohan Patel, Vice-Chancellor of Kutch University. This event was meticulously organized by the dedicated members of GLCC Anjar.
