માવલડી મારી

જ્યારે રહે કોઈ ન આરો,
ત્યારે દેખાય મા તારો જ એક આશરો.
કદી ન લેતી નિરાંતનો શ્વાસ,
કરતી રહેતી કામ વિના કોઈ સ્વાર્થ.

અમારી સાચવતા સગવડ,
જેણે કદી ન ગણી પોતાની અગવડ.
મા તારા અનમોલ મોલ,
સમજાય છે આજે જ્યારે બની હું દીકરી મટી મા.

કેટલું અઘરું છે પોતાના મારી શોખ,
સંતાનના પૂરા કરવા તમામ અરમાનને કોડ.
બાપની પડવા દીધી ન કદી ય ખોટ,
મા તારો જડે ન કોઈ તોલ.

સાતેય ભવ ચૂકવું જો તારું ઋણ,
તોય અધૂરું જ રહે એટલું તારો ઋણ!
એક જ અરજ મારી,
ભવોભવ મને મળજો આજ માવલડી મારી…
