મા યાદ આવી…
થયો ફૂલોનો સ્પર્શને, એની કોમળતા યાદ આવી,
કોણ જાણે કેમ આજે, મને મારી મા યાદ આવી…
એ.સી. માં રહેવા છતાં, નથી મળતી એ ઠંડક હવે,
એનાં પાલવમાં મળતી જે, એ શીતળતા યાદ આવી…
શબ્દો પણ ડંખે છે હવે, આ મતલબી દુનિયાનાં,
મીઠો ઠપકો આપતી જે, તેની મધુરતા યાદ આવી…
છોડી તેનો સાથ સદા, નીકળ્યો’તો સુખને શોધવા,
ખુદને મળ્યો એકલો તો, તેની એકલતા યાદ આવી…
નથી માણી શકતો હવે, હૂંફ ને લાગણી તેના હૈયાની,
બળ્યો હશે જીવ કેટલો, તેની વિવશતા યાદ આવી…
આથી વિશેષ શું લખું હું, શબ્દો થકી માતૃવંદના કરું,
લખતાં ખૂટ્યા શબ્દો મારા, ને તારી મમતા યાદ આવી…
વાંચો જો ગઝલ ને થાય, કે આમ જ વહેતી રહે ગઝલ,
તો સમજો કે તમને પણ, તમારી પ્રેમાળ મા યાદ આવી…
