ABOUT POETRY
Presenting the Kutchi poem written by Dr. Ramesh Bhatt ‘Rashmi’ (Ramesh Bhagwatiben Kantilal) for the book ‘Kutchi Mijaaj Kavysangrah’. The book is a compilation of the writer’s emotions about the biggest Kutchi Literature & Music Festival ‘Kutchi Mijaaj: Kutchi Sahitya Sangeet Parv‘ organized by Give Vacha Foundation, Krup Music, and Esy ID in association with Global Literature and Cultural Club.
The book is part of the Shabda Vandna project.

અસીં સજી ધુનીયાંથી ધાર,
અસીં ધુનીયાંકે કરીયું પ્યાર.
અસાં વટે મિણીં રોગૅંજો ઈલાજ,
અસાંજો કચ્છી મિજાજ, કચ્છી મિજાજ.
અસાં વટે મિઠી બાજરજી માની,
અસીંતા મેડ઼ાવેજા રસખાની.
અસાં વટે ગુણજો વે ગિરાસ,
અસાંજો કચ્છી મિજાજ.
અસાં વટે ઢોલ નેં ઢોલતેં ડાંઢી,
અસીં ઉજાઇયું કુસૉજી કાંઢી.
અસાં વટે ગીત કાફી નેં રાસ,
અસાંજો કચ્છી મિજાજ.
અસાં વટે મેડ઼ા મલાખડ઼ા જામ,
અસાં વટ ધિલસાં સૉંન ઇનામ.
‘રશ્મિ’ સચ અસાંજો સાજ,
અસાંજો કચ્છી મિજાજ.
