Formation by a Family: Parv Fusion Band is an Indian fusion band founded by child prodigy Parv Thacker, his sister Vacha Thacker, father Dr. Krupesh Thacker, mother Dr. Pooja Thacker & grand parents Nayna Thacker & Dr. Shashikant Thacker in 2019 with the debut album of Parv Thacker. Parv was 1 year and 342 days old at the time of the band formation and album release on 14 April 2019. With the debut album ‘Parv – The Youngest Singer’, Parv Thacker set the Guinness World Record to be the ‘Youngest singer to release an album‘. Thus the band had a record breaking beginning.
Mission of the band: The band had a strong mission to do advocacy for child health condition through ‘Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv’ (GCAP, #GCAParv) initiative as Parv Thacker was born with bi-lateral clubfoot and got his life changed through music. The initiative is backed by three doctors of the band.
It became the 1st family fusion band in India. The band mostly performs Sounds Of Sanatan including devotional mantras, bhajans, chants, patriotic songs as well as songs on family values. It is the official band of Give Vacha Foundation NGO.
